Saskatchewan income tax overview
Saskatchewan uses 3 tax brackets ranging from 10.50% on the first $53,463 of taxable income up to 14.50% on the highest bracket. The provincial Basic Personal Amount of $18,991 is applied as a non-refundable credit at the lowest rate.
Like other provinces outside Quebec, you contribute to CPP (5.95% on earnings $3,500–$71,300, plus 4% CPP2 between $71,300–$81,200) and federal EI (1.66% up to $65,700).
In addition to Saskatchewan provincial tax, all Canadian residents pay federal income tax (15% to 33% depending on income) with the federal Basic Personal Amount of $16,129 for 2025 applied as a non-refundable credit. RRSP contributions reduce both federal and provincial taxable income.
